The GW16148 is a Mini-PCIe to M.2 Adapter designed to allow support of M.2 NVME storage drives on Gateworks single board computers. The GW16148 adapter allow M.2 M-Key NVME drives be plugged into a Mini-PCIe slot on a Gateworks Single Board Computer. While some NVME drives use 4 lanes of PCIe, the GW16148 adapter utilizes a single Gen 1 PCIe lane. Many adapters typically have pin signal conflicts with standard specifications, so these adapters only pass through the minimum required signalling to avoid these conflicts. Many NVME drives used in consumer laptops have a extended length (80mm), longer than the maximum 52mm supported on the GW16148.
Note: Please refer to the Gateworks NVME Wiki Page for more information on NVME drives supported on the GW16148
*Disclaimer: This card has only been tested on Gateworks Single Board Computers. Gateworks only provides support when used on a Gateworks SBC.*
